Course Aim:

This is annual training that is available for Health & Safety Representatives and their deputies who have been trained at the initial level.

Target Group:

Elected Health & Safety Representatives (HSR’s) and their Deputies, Supervisors and Managers.

Qualifications Achieved:

This course meets the requirement of the OH&S Act 2004 Section 21 ‘To provide such information, instruction, training and supervision to employees as are necessary to enable the employees to perform their work in a manner that is safe and without risks to health’.

·       Update on current legislation

·       Current Health & Safety issues

·       Duties and roles of workers and employers

·      Refresher on knowledge gained at initial 5 day course
