Working at HeightsCourse Aim: 
To provide sites who require a flexible height access system with skills and knowledge required for using flexible height access systems.  It is targeted at those who have the need to conduct work where installed height safety systems may not be previously fitted. This may include maintenance staff, trades staff and contractors.

Target Group: 
People who work at heights or in close proximity to heights.
 
Qualifications Achieved: 
This course meets the requirements of the OH&S Act 2004 Section 21 'To provide such information, instruction, training and supervision to employees as are necessary to enable the employees to perform their work in a manner that is safe and without risks to health.'
 
Course Subjects: 

  • Legislation, Acts, Regulations 2003, Codes of Practices
  • Hazards of falls
  • The practical set up and use of various systems
  • Safety / Rescue Procedures
