All staff who may initially be involved in responding to and dealing with small emergencies on-site.
Course participants will learn:
This course will cover theoretical and practical activities designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to recognise and control small emergencies on-site. This session
includes the use of fire extinguishers.
Topics include:
- Types of emergencies
- Planning & Preparation for an emergency
- “Sizing up” an emergency
- Basics of fire
- Dangers associated with fire emergency
- Evacuation procedures
- Use of fire extinguishers#
# Use of a fire extinguisher can either be done in a “live fire” environment or we also offer an electronic ‘Bullex’ fire simulator which can be used indoors.
