All staff who potentially could be involved in the role or require awareness of fire watch—relating to hot work.
Course participants will learn:
This is a course designed to provide the skills and knowledge for those who are required to deal with fire watch in relation to Hot Work.

- Role of Fire Watch
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Hot Work Hazard Assessment
- Hot Work Permit System
- Understanding fire
- Use of fire extinguishers
- Basic first aid
- Emergency procedures
- Practical exercises
# Use of a fire extinguisher can either be done in a “live fire” environment or we also offer an electronic ‘Bullex’ fire simulator which can be used indoors.
Qualification
Non-Accredited — A certificate of attendance is awarded for this course
